Your journey begins with a short, guided nature walk across the Irie Bridge and through lush jungle trails, where you'll discover local flora and fauna. Then, hop into your heavy-duty river tube and float down the crystal-clear Rio Bueno. Experience relaxing lazy-river currents surrounded by tropical foliage, followed by fun, adrenaline-pumping class I-II river rapids guided by certified tour professionals.

Round-Trip Transportation (If Selected): If you purchase the full package option ($80 USD/adult), air-conditioned hotel or cruise port pick-up and drop-off is included from Montego Bay, Falmouth, Runaway Bay, or Ocho Rios.
1. Arrival & Gear-Up
Check-In & Fitting: Upon arrival at the facility, you'll check in with your tour guide and get fitted with required safety equipment, including a helmet and life jacket (PFD).
Belongings: Key lockers are available on-site for rent so you can securely store dry clothes, keys, and valuables before heading down to the river.
2. Guided Nature Walk
Jungle Trail Walk: You'll start with a brief, easy 7-minute walking tour across the Irie Bridge and along tropical riverbank trails.
Local Sightseeing: Tour guides share insights about Jamaican flora, fauna, and local wildlife along the way to the river launch site.
3. On-Water Tubing Adventure (~1 Hour)
Calm & Lazy River Sections: Drift smoothly down the Rio Bueno, enjoying lush rainforest canopies, serene natural pools, and cool freshwater currents.
Class I–II Rapids: Experience thrilling, adrenaline-pumping river rapids led safely by certified river guides.
Special Rules for Young Kids: Children ages 5 and 6 ride in larger, double-capacity tubes sitting on a parent's lap for extra security.
4. Beach Finish & On-Site Amenities
Where River Meets Sea: The trip finishes where the Rio Bueno flows directly into the Caribbean Sea at Bengal Beach.
Relaxation & Refreshments: Unwind on the private beach, take a dip at the river mouth or waterfalls, and purchase local food or drinks at the beach bar. Photo packages and water shoes are also available on-site.
Special Requirements
Restrictions: Not recommended for pregnant women & Children ages 5 and 6 yrs old must travel in larger tubes and sit in a parent’s lap
What To Bring
Waterwear / Swimwear: Wear a swimsuit or quick-drying water clothes under your outfits.
Water Shoes / Sturdy Footwear: Water shoes, strap-on sandals, or old sneakers that stay securely on your feet in moving water are required (flip-flops are easily lost in the river). Water shoes are also available for purchase on-site if needed.
Towel & Change of Clothes: Bring dry clothes and a towel to change into after the activity.
Sun Protection: Reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses (preferably with a strap), and a hat for the beach area.
Waterproof Camera / Phone Case: If you plan on taking photos on the river, use a waterproof phone pouch with a lanyard.
Cash or Card: Bring extra money for locker rentals, photo packages, local food, drinks, or tips for your river guides.
