Raft Capacity Limits Maximum Capacity: Each bamboo raft is strictly built to hold up to 2 adults (plus optionally 1 small child, usually under age 4–5).   Larger Groups: Groups of 3 adults or more will need to book multiple rafts. Cutoff Time: Because the full river trip takes 2.5 to 3 hours, the latest recommended departure time from the launch point is around 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM to ensure you finish before sunset.   Cash Payment Requirements Most vendors along the river valley, including your raft captain (for tips), local craft stalls, and Belinda's Riverside Restaurant, operate strictly on cash (USD or JMD). Cards are generally not accepted along the river route.   Vehicle Transfer / Logistics Point-to-Point Excursion: The tour starts upriver (at Berrydale) and finishes downstream at the coast (Rafters Rest in St. Margaret's Bay).   If you are self-driving, you must arrange a designated driver or transfer service at the starting point to move your car down to the finish site so it is waiting for you when you land.
