DrivletJA Peer-to-Peer Vehicle Rentals Policy
Effective Date: July 12, 2025 (Updated: August 15, 2026)
1. Nature of the Platform
DrivletJA (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates as an online platform that connects independent vehicle owners (“Owners”) with individuals seeking to rent vehicles (“Renters”). DrivletJA is not a vehicle rental company, broker, insurer, or financial institution. We do not own, manage, control, or operate any vehicles listed on the platform. Our role is limited to providing a digital environment where Owners and Renters can communicate, arrange rentals, and share information. All rental agreements are strictly between the Owner and Renter.
2. Understanding Your Listing & Visibility

Searchable Directory: Cars listed on DrivletJA automatically become a part of our searchable car directory.

User-Driven Rentals: Vehicle bookings are entirely based on the independent choices of users browsing the directory. We have no control over which vehicles people choose or how often your vehicle is rented. DrivletJA acts solely as a platform to connect vehicle owners with potential renters.

Platform Promotion: We continuously promote the DrivletJA platform to drive traffic and attract potential customers to our website.

Directory Dynamics: As new vehicles are added to the platform, older listings naturally get pushed down in standard search results.

Standard Free Listings: Your FREE listing will always remain active on our platform, allowing users to find your vehicle through standard search queries.

Featured & Premium Options: If you want to increase your exposure, you can upgrade to one of our premium plans to feature your vehicle and unlock additional visibility perks.
3. Payments & Financial Responsibility
DrivletJA does not collect, hold, or process rental payments on behalf of Owners or Renters. All financial arrangements are made directly between the parties. Renters and Owners are solely responsible for negotiating rental fees, payment methods, deposits, and refunds. DrivletJA has no responsibility or liability for any payment disputes, fraud, chargebacks, or failure to pay.
4. Identity Verification & User Responsibility
DrivletJA may request government-issued identification, driver’s licenses, or other documents for verification purposes. While we take steps to review submitted documents, we cannot guarantee the authenticity, accuracy, or ownership of such IDs. Users acknowledge that all interactions and transactions are conducted at their own risk. Owners must independently verify that Renters hold valid driver’s licenses and any other permits required by law.
5. Insurance & Compliance with Laws
DrivletJA does not provide insurance coverage of any kind. Owners are solely responsible for maintaining valid vehicle insurance as required by law. Both parties are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including traffic, registration, licensing, and safety requirements across their operating jurisdictions.
6. Condition, Use & Liability
Owners represent that their vehicles are roadworthy, safe, and legally compliant. Renters agree to use vehicles responsibly, lawfully, and in accordance with the agreed terms. DrivletJA disclaims all liability for:

Accidents, damages, theft, or loss involving vehicles.

Personal injury or property damage.

Mechanical issues or defects in vehicles.

Any dispute, disagreement, or legal action between Owners and Renters.

7. Dispute Resolution Between Users
DrivletJA is not a party to any rental agreement. Any disputes (including but not limited to payments, damages, or breaches of contract) must be resolved directly between the Owner and Renter. DrivletJA may, at its sole discretion, offer non-binding assistance but has no obligation to mediate or resolve disputes.
8. User Conduct & Platform Integrity
Users must provide accurate, truthful information when creating an account or listing a vehicle. Fraudulent use, identity theft, or false representation may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform. Users agree not to hold DrivletJA responsible for any losses, damages, or claims arising from another user’s conduct.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

DrivletJA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Our total liability, if any, shall never exceed $100 USD regardless of the nature of the claim.

10. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless DrivletJA, its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of:

User’s use of the platform,

Any rental agreement entered into,

Violation of laws, or
-
Violation of these Terms.
11. Termination & Suspension
DrivletJA reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account or access to the platform at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or suspected fraudulent activity.
12. Governing Law & International Expansion
As DrivletJA expands operations beyond Jamaica into other Caribbean countries, these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica, or the local jurisdiction where the relevant transaction or listing occurs, as applicable. Any legal claims must be brought exclusively in the appropriate courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
Drivlet Stays Policy

1. Nature of the Directory & Direct Contact
DrivletJA Stays (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates exclusively as a public directory and informational platform showcasing third-party accommodations across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. DrivletJA Stays is not a property management company, booking agent, real estate broker, travel agency, online travel agency (OTA), hotel, insurer, or financial institution.
No Direct Bookings
We do not handle reservations, bookings, calendar management, or confirmations. When a user selects the "Contact to Book" option, they are redirected externally to the official Instagram account or designated communication channel managed directly by the property host, owner, or their representative.
Independent Arrangements: All subsequent communication, inquiries, negotiations, and agreements occur entirely off-platform between the user and the property host.
2. Content Aggregation & Public Listings
Sourcing of Information: Photos, descriptions, amenities, and details displayed for stays on DrivletJA Stays are extracted and curated from publicly available listings, social media profiles, and promotional materials provided or published by the respective property hosts.
Accuracy Disclaimer
While we strive to present accurate and up-to-date information, DrivletJA Stays does not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, current status, or authenticity of any property details, pricing, or imagery displayed. Users are strongly advised to independently verify all property conditions, rules, and amenities directly with the host prior to making any commitments or payments.
3. Payments & Financial Disclaimer
DrivletJA Stays does not collect, hold, process, escrow, or manage any funds, deposits, nightly rates, cleaning fees, or refunds for stays. All financial transactions are conducted strictly between the user and the property host through whatever external methods they mutually agree upon. DrivletJA assumes zero liability for any financial losses, deposit disputes, scams, fraudulent accounts, chargebacks, or unfulfilled reservations resulting from external transactions.
4. Property Conditions, Safety & Liability Waiver
DrivletJA Stays does not own, manage, inspect, endorse, or control any of the properties featured in the directory.
User Responsibility: Guests acknowledge that staying at any property involves inherent risks. All visits, stays, and interactions are undertaken entirely at the user's own risk.
Complete Release of Liability: DrivletJA expressly disclaims all liability for property damage, loss of personal property, theft, personal injury, illness, structural defects, safety violations, or any disputes arising out of or related to a stay at any listed property.
5. Intellectual Property & Host Opt-Out
Fair Use & Promotion: Property listings and media are featured for promotional and directory purposes to drive discovery and direct traffic to property hosts.
Removal Requests: If you are a property owner or host and wish to update, modify, or remove your property from the DrivletJA Stays directory, you may contact our support team directly for prompt action.
6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DrivletJA, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the directory or interaction with listed hosts. Users and hosts agree to indemnify and hold harmless DrivletJA from any claims, losses, or expenses resulting from their use of the platform.
7. Governing Law & International Scope
As DrivletJA Stays features properties across Jamaica and expands into other Caribbean destinations, these terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any legal matters or claims must be brought exclusively in the courts of Jamaica.
Drivlet Experiences Policy

DrivletJA Experiences (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates exclusively as a public directory and informational platform showcasing third-party tours, excursions, events, and activities across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. DrivletJA Experiences is not a tour operator, travel agency, event planner, insurer, or financial institution.

When a user selects the "Contact to Book" (or equivalent inquiry) option, they are redirected externally to the official Instagram account or designated communication channel managed directly by the experience organizer, guide, or host.
